MUSIC: Smetana: Má vlast—the complete work or by individual pieces such as "Vyšehrad," "The Moldau" and "From Bohemia's Woods and Fields."
Smetana’s famed Czech homeland has a fiery history, but today it’s characterized by the rolling countryside of Bohemia, the wine-sipping charm of Moravia, and the Old World magic of Prague—the City of 100 Spires. From dramatic castles and red-roofed villages to the legendary Moldau river, this piece is an intimate cultural exploration of the Czech Republic.
