Airstream Adventuring Begins

Meet “Violet,” our new-to-us Airstream. We recently adopted this vintage beauty in Colorado. Since then we’ve had a rooftop of solar panels installed and many more modern trappings, allowing us to spend lots of time off-the-grid in nature this summer. She can even charge our Chevy Volt and haul our bikes!

For our maiden voyage, we drove Violet cross-country from California to Ohio for our May concert with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. After a month exploring Ohio, we’ll be making our way back west—and taking some time for new adventures. So starting this July, look out for us in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Montana. And occasionally, when we’re not flying to concerts, we might just airstream our way there.
