Double Engagement with the Brevard Symphony
This October we’ll be collaborating with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra on their season-opener in Melbourne, Florida. It’s our second concert with Maestro Chris Confessore; last year Nicholas performed Citizen Soldier and Grand Canyon Country with him while he led the Alabama Symphony. For their “American Landscapes” concert, we’ll be helping the BSO celebrate the legacy of the National Park Service with our latest concert piece, National Park Suite, as well as make a visit out west with our lively Rodeo! piece. The music will be Dvořák’s beautiful Largo movement and Copland’s Rodeo suite, respectively.
While this will be our first concert with the BSO, we’re already set to share another exciting multimedia pairing for their audience—the BSO has signed on for a follow-up concert within the next three seasons. Hope to see you in Florida this fall, or in the future!
